Carmen began painting at an early age and has continued exploring facets of herself through a range of expressions – mostly with paint and always making use of existing materials. Whether portraits or abstracts, from large-scale murals to meticulous yantras, her ever-evolving body of work remains a means of preservation for and devotion to the transient moments of beauty, clarity, and love.
